Figure Drawing Workshop

This session is built around a sustained, long pose figure drawing experience in a working studio environment. The structure is straightforward and focused on time at the easel.

The first hour is a guided warm up with practical instruction on drawing from life. Topics include gesture, line weight, proportion, form, and shadow. After that, the session shifts into a three hour long pose with a live model, including short breaks.

This is primarily a studio session. One on one guidance is available throughout, but the emphasis is on independent work and extended observation.

Students who prefer to skip the instruction can join for the live model portion only. Arrival is required at least 10 minutes before the long pose begins. Doors lock at 1:00 PM and no late entry will be allowed.
