I'm a mixed media artist and portrait photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina. I've spent more than 20 years working as an artist, and photography became a natural extension of that work. Both are ways of exploring people, character, expression, and the stories we carry with us.
My approach to portrait photography is simple: create images that feel intentional, distinctive, and genuinely connected to the person in front of the camera. I use controlled, low key lighting and rim light to shape the face and body, creating portraits with depth, atmosphere, and a strong sense of presence.
I also paint. My work includes oil, watercolor, graphite, and ink, with subjects ranging from figurative work and equine paintings to more conceptual pieces rooted in personal experience and symbolism. Painting and photography are not separate worlds for me. They influence each other and are both part of the way I see.
I photograph private clients, artists, creatives, and professionals looking for something more personal than a standard portrait. I also work on commissioned paintings and custom photographic projects for private clients, designers, and collectors.
